Roles and Responsibilities of Discipline Committee

To ensure the implementation of all instructions, rules and guidelines issued by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan regarding discipline and student conduct.
To promote discipline, punctuality, regularity and responsible behaviour among students.
To monitor student behaviour and ensure compliance with the rules and regulations of the Vidyalaya.
To maintain a safe, respectful, orderly and positive school environment for students and staff.
To identify instances of indiscipline and take appropriate action as per the prescribed rules and directions of the Vidyalaya.
To counsel students regarding appropriate behaviour, discipline, responsibility and adherence to school rules.
To coordinate with class teachers, house masters and other concerned staff in matters related to student discipline.
To monitor discipline during school assembly, dispersal, breaks, transitions between classes and other school activities.
To maintain proper records and documentation of significant disciplinary incidents and actions taken, wherever required.
To ensure that disciplinary measures are implemented fairly, appropriately and in accordance with the prescribed procedures.
To encourage students to develop self-discipline, respect for others, responsibility and good conduct.
To bring serious or recurring disciplinary matters to the notice of the Principal for appropriate action.
To assist in maintaining discipline during examinations, functions, competitions, educational activities and other school programmes.
To create awareness among students regarding school rules, code of conduct and expected standards of behaviour.
To undertake any other discipline-related work assigned by the Principal from time to time.
