About Our Vidyalaya

Kendriya Vidyalaya Narayanpur was established on 18 August 2015 as a Civil Sector school. The Vidyalaya provides education from Balvatika to Class XII. The Science and Arts streams are available at the Senior Secondary level, and approximately 960 students are enrolled in the Vidyalaya.

As a co-educational institution affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), the Vidyalaya strives for academic excellence and the all-round development of every student. It promotes national integration, respect for diversity and a sense of Indianness, helping students become responsible, confident and sensitive citizens.

The Vidyalaya is situated approximately 2 kilometres from Narayanpur town, in a peaceful natural environment surrounded by hills and trees. Its natural surroundings provide a conducive atmosphere for learning, reflection, creativity and personal growth.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Narayanpur strives to provide a comprehensive learning experience that connects classroom knowledge with real-life applications. Technology-enabled classrooms, smart class facilities, a language laboratory, a computer laboratory, sports infrastructure and co-curricular activities help students learn beyond textbooks and develop essential 21st-century skills.

The teaching-learning process encourages curiosity, critical thinking, communication, collaboration, creativity and problem-solving. Students are motivated to participate in academic, cultural, literary and sports activities and to prepare for future opportunities, including competitive examinations such as Olympiads, JEE and NEET, according to their interests.

Balvatika: Building a Strong Foundation

The early childhood curriculum considers the needs, interests and abilities of young children. Through age-appropriate, engaging and activity-based experiences, it encourages exploration, imagination, social interaction and joyful learning. A constructivist approach and an understanding of multiple intelligences help children learn by doing, observing, asking questions and exploring the world around them.

Primary Stage: Nurturing Curiosity

The primary curriculum strengthens foundational literacy, numeracy and subject knowledge while developing creativity and an interest in learning. Secondary Stage: Applying Knowledge

Senior Secondary Stage: Preparing for the Future

Through the Science and Arts streams, the Senior Secondary Stage helps students explore their interests, deepen their subject knowledge and prepare for higher education and future careers.
