Atal Tinkering Lab
|
Atal Tinkering Labs (ATLs) are innovation workspaces designed to encourage students from Classes VI to XII to explore, experiment, design, and develop innovative solutions using emerging technologies. Established under the Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) of NITI Aayog, Government of India, the ATL initiative aims to foster creativity, scientific curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills among young learners while nurturing a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship. ATLs typically provide access to hands-on learning resources such as robotics kits, 3D printers, electronic components, sensors, and other technological tools. With appropriate guidance and mentorship, students can transform their ideas into prototypes and work collaboratively on solutions to real-world challenges at the local, national, and global levels. Present Status at the VidyalayaAt present, PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya Narayanpur does not have an Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL). However, the Vidyalaya recognises the importance of innovation-based and experiential learning in developing 21st-century skills among students and encourages scientific temper, creativity, and problem-solving through available educational resources and activities. |
